Controversy over Temple Point Hotel ownership continues

Controversy surrounding the ownership of a luxurious hotel in Watamu Kilifi County continued to deepen after two people claiming ownership of the facility were blocked from accessing the hotel.

Isaac Rodrot and StefannoUccelli were barred from accessing the Temple Point resort by villagers, Staff and the management despite an escort by a contingent of police led by the Malindi OCPD MatawaMuchangi.

The struggle for ownership of this luxurious hotel in Watamu beach has spilled over into the New Year, this time round the management seeking the help of villagers and staff to block perceived intruders from gaining access.

The controversy in the hotel ownership pits the Temple Point Resort with another company registered as Salama Beach Hotel which also claims ownership of the facility.

Drama unfolded after the current management under Hans Jurgen Langer a German, got wind that some quarters also claiming ownership were going to the hotel to officially take over.

Attempts by the police to gain access to the hotel were rendered futile, forcing the police led by Malindi OCPD MatawaMuchangi to retreat.

Rodrot and Ucceiliwho claim to be the real owners of the hotel accusing Langer of using a foreign court to acquire the facility, claims the German has flatly denied.
