EuroMoney names KCB best bank in Kenya
The award, sponsored by the UK-based financial magazine, EuroMoney is a confirmation of the Group’s commitment to its product offering and top class customer service to meet the growing demand for banking.
Euromoney honours firms with extensive global capabilities, depth of investment products, as well as relentless dedication to developing and providing innovative products and solutions that ensure customer satisfaction.
The Award Ceremony took place on Thursday July 10, 2014 at the Natural History Museum in London, England.

The panel selects financial institutions for the 25 global awards in capital markets and banking sectors in nearly one hundred countries.
Euromoney’s Awards for Excellence recognise the institutions and individuals that demonstrate leadership, innovation, and momentum in the markets in which they excel.
They are based on comprehensive evaluations of admissions made by financial institutions comprising of both qualitative and quantitative factors.
Other international awards that the bank has won include the 2014 Banker Awards where KCB scooped Bank of the Year Regional Award in Africa and Bank of the Year in Kenya.
Similarly, the bank won 2014 Deutsche Bank Awards; STP Excellence Award.
Last year, KCB won the Best Retail Bank in Kenya in the Global Financial Markets and the Asian Banker International Excellence Awards 2013.
Early, this year, KCB Group won several awards in the East African Banking Awards 2014 managed by Think Business. It won Best Recovery Award-KCB Uganda, Best Bank in Asset Finance, Best Bank in Agency Banking and Best Bank in SME Banking.
The bank also emerged second in the Best Bank in East-Africa, Best Bank in Corporate Banking, Best Bank in Product Marketing and Best Bank in Retail Banking.
The awards demonstrate that the strategies such as KCB Customer Charter and the investment in IT system have enabled it to successfully rollout KCB Agent Banking, KCB Intelligent ATMs, KCB One Branch Banking Platform, KCB Mobile Banking, M-Benki and KCB Internet Banking which provide more convenience to customers and the banking industry in general.
