Kenya Sportpesa Premier League 16th round match pitting Gor Mahia and Muhoroni Youth will be played this Wednesday.
The match was set to be played last weekend but was postponed following a friendly match between Gor Mahia and Everton in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
After an historical trip of English Premier League side Everton Football, Club for an international friendly match with Kenya soccer giants Gor Mahia in Tanzania last week, where Gor Mahia narrowly lost 2-1, attention has now been shifted to their 16th round league game against the young stars of Muhoroni this Wednesday.
“Kogallo” which has so far lost three league matches this season, lies third on the log table with 28 points but with a game in hand.
Ulinzi Stars is at the helm with 29 points following their 2-1 victory over Nakumaat FC, last weekend. Posta Rangers is in the second position with 29 points behind Ulinzi with a two goal difference separating the two teams.
Defending champions Tusker lie fourth with 28 points while Kariobangi Sharks, Sofapaka and Kakamega Homeboyz are in the fifth, sixth and seventh positions with 26, 24 and 23 points, respectively.
Bandari, Nakumaat and Chemelil Sugar lie in the eighth, ninth and tenth positions, respectively.
Mathare United is at the bottom of the log with 12 points having lost eight league matches so far under former Harambee Stars tactician, Francis Kimanzi.
