Gor plays first CECAFA group match in August

Kenya premier league champions Gor Mahia FC will play their first CECAFA group match against KCCA of Uganda on the 8th of next month at the Amahoro Stadium in Rwanda.
Gor Mahia is drawn in Pool ‘B’ alongside hosts APR of Rwanda, KCCA from Uganda, Flambeau from Burundi and Djibouti’s Telecom.
Gor Mahia’s second match will be on 11th August against Flambeau from Burundi, and then face APR on 15th August and finally against Telecom from Djibouti on 17th August.
In other matches Atlabara from South Sudan will face KMKM from Zanzibar while Rwanda’s Rayon take on Yanga from Tanzania.
Cecafa secretary general Nicholas Musonye said everything is in place and they are ready to host the annual club tournament.
