Gor sign sponsorship deal with Italy based company

Kenya premier league champions Gor Mahia FC has signed a three year kit sponsorship deal with an Italy based company Sports Studio, from the Spain’s Joma brand family.

The deal is estimated to be worth 3.6 million Kenya shillings annually bringing its total value to over ten Million shillings over the three year period.

The deal will see Gor Mahia receive home, neutral, and away branded jerseys, training kits, tracksuits, fans jackets, replica jerseys, relax kits, windbreakers and other merchandise.

Gor Mahia  is preparing to face their arch rivals AFC  Leopards   in a Kenya premier league match at the Nyayo national stadium this weekend.

Meanwhile, double Olympic gold medallist Mo Farah has withdrawn from the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow after failing to recover from a recent illness.

Farah, won the 5,000 metres and 10,000 metres at London 2012 and was set to run both distances in Scotland.

However, he has decided to stay at his training camp to be fit for August’s European Championships in Zurich.
