Government declares Tuesday a public holiday

Government has declared Tuesday July 29, 2014 a public holiday to celebrate Eid-al-Fitr.

Interior and Coordination of National Government Cabinet Secretary Joseph ole Lenku declared the public holiday in a special issue of the Kenya gazette notice dated 18th July 2014.

The special gazette notice read, “ It is notified for general information that Tuesday July 29th 2014 will be observed as a public holiday to mark Eid-al-Fitr day 2014”.
