GSU have withdrawn from this year’s edition of the African men’s volleyball Club Championships in Libya which starts early next week due to financial constraints.

The former national champions have had a fair share of problems in the past few months having to juggle between providing national security and training for the continental event.

They were forced to cut short their normal training to remain vigil before, during and after the March 4th General Elections.

Head coach Moses Epoloto confirmed that the team did not return entry forms before the deadline early this month.
