St Pauls University recorded their 10th win of the season after they thrashed Gunners 51-34 in a handball league match played on Sunday at Kaloleni grounds in Nairobi.
Lady champions Nairobi Water and Boomerang were the other winners of the day.
A tightly contested dual saw St Pauls University face Gunners in the second handball league match of the day at Kaloleni grounds, after the game pitting lady champions Nairobi Water and Kenyatta University.
St Pauls, who had only won nine of the 19 matches they had played this season, were quick to take control of the game leading 25-12 at halftime before securing maximum points with an easy 51-34 win.
Gibson Luyari and Brian Mombo were on thefore front leading St Pauls to the much-deserved victory in the game they were in totally dominated on all fronts.
Sammy Nzomo and Mustafa Saidi scored seven and five goals respectively for the losers but they could not help their team turn the tables around.
Boomerang beat Mount Kenya University winning 35-23.
Dan Mogeni scored eight goals to push Boomerang to the victory with the losers boasting of only 23 goals.
And as expected lady champions Nairobi Water were unstoppable as they thrashed Kenyatta University 31-12 in a one-sided encounter.
The holders led 16-7 at halftime before sealing the points in the second half.
Gladys Chillo was Waters top scorer with seven goals while Celine Wabuke led the score-charts for the losers with just three goals. Black Mamba also boasted a 40-17 win over TUK.
