Jamii Bora Bank, Post Bank seal agency banking deal

Jamii Bora bank customers will now be able to access the bank’s services such as cash deposits, withdrawals, as well as balance enquiries through Post Bank’s 99 branches all over the country.

This follows the signing of an agency banking agreement between the two firms.

The deal between the two banks, Jamii Bora and Post bank will see  Jamii Bora leverage on Post bank’s 99 branches countrywide to provide banking and financial services to its customers.

Speaking during the launch, Jamii Bora bank CEO Samuel Kimani noted that the agency banking relationship will enable the banks’ customers access their funds make deposits, withdrawals, as well as balance enquiries through Post Bank’s infrastructure across the country.

Kimani says that Postbank’s wide network of branches spread across the 47 counties, Kenswitch enabled ATMs and point of sale terminals makes the bank an ideal partner to enable Jamii Bora bank reach its customers at the grassroots level.
