Addressing journalists at St. Paul’s ACK Lodwar Parish, he urged those in government and those in opposition to have dialogue on how to unite Kenyans who are currently divided politically.

The Anglican leader said that Kenya will lag behind in terms of development when it remains in a political mood for long with opposition seeking to have its own President.

He added that the government in place should be on the forefront in promoting national cohesion.

The Archbishop emphasized that political dialogue should be on how electoral laws should be streamlined to ensure a 2022 General Election process is conducted smoothly.

He points out that Kenya doesn’t need dialogue over how it can get a new President because the country has President Uhuru who was sworn in office after his victory was upheld by Supreme Court where it had been challenged.
