KCB ladies team lauded for their historic win during play offs

KCB assistant Captain Lincy Jeruto and Captain Gladys Wairimu are feted by Deputy Inspector General of Police during the KCB National play offs awards ceremony.

KCB Group Head of Corporate and Regulatory Affairs Judith Sidi Odhiambo who is also the KCB ladies team patron has lauded the squad for the brilliant performances during the recently concluded KCB national volleyball play offs.

KCB emerged second after edging out defending Champions Kenya Pipeline and Bungoma County at the Kasarani Gymnasium.

KCB assistant Captain Lincy Jeruto was crowned the top Libero of the3-day event while 22-year-old Metrin Wabwile won the best attacker crown.

“I am extremely proud of the girls for their exemplary performance, KCB Bank congratulates them for their exploits, and we are looking forward to the Africa Club Championship”, said Judith.

The patron says the continental glory will be their target with kcb gearing up to challenge for top honors.
