Kenya rose to the 95th spot in the world with 339 points

Kenya rose thirteen places in the latest FIFA Rankings released Wednesday, rising to 95th spot in the world with 339 points.

New world Champions Germany is top of the world ranking for the first time in two decades, followed by Argentina and the Netherlands in second and third places respectively.

Colombia, Belgium, France and Costa Rica also made impressive gains after posting good results at the recently concluded world Cup in Brazil. Brazil dropped four places to 7th while former world leaders Spain registered one of the biggest drops from position one to eight.

Algeria and Cote d’ Ivorie are the best placed African nations worldwide at position 24 and 25th respectively.
