The Kenya national rugby sevens side Shujaa started their Cape Town sevens campaign on a losing note after going down 29-12 to giants England in their first pool match played Saturday afternoon in South Africa.
England got off to the perfect start in the game getting the first try in the first minute of the game through Ethan Waddleton but Kenya were back on level terms two minutes later through Cyprian Kuto.
Dan Norton restored England’s lead with a second try in the 6th minute and again two minutes later Leonard Mugaisi scored the second try for Kenya.
From that second try Kenya lost a grip in the game and conceded three more tries eventually losing 29-12.
The Cape Town sevens leg will end on Sunday with Kenya expected back in the country next week.
