Kenyan runners participating in commonwealth games begin training

The Kenya sprints and middle distance team that will feature in this year’s commonwealth games has kicked off its training at Karura forest and Kasarani stadium, respectively.

The team has ample time to prepare for the games slated for April in Australia.

The Kenyan team seeks to enrich the country’s dominance in athletics.

World Youth and Commonwealth 1,500m champion Kumari Taki who has joined the senior team has vowed to emulate his seniors and has promised to show a dazzling performance.

This year’s commonwealth games will be held from 4th to 15th April in Australia.
