KTB to host magical Kenya race day

Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) will this weekend host the Magical Kenya Race Day in partnership with the Jockey Club of Kenya in a bid to tap into the opportunity to showcase Kenya.

The two day event is part of KTB’s strategy to use local events to showcase the magical attractions Kenya offers to both citizens and residents.

Horse racing goers will get to interact and shop for different holiday options from the various tour operators, hoteliers, Camp & Lodge owners and other tourism players who will be at the Jockey Club.

This is the third time KTB and Jockey Club are hosting the ‘Magical Kenya Race Day.

KTB Managing Director Muriithi Ndegwa says the event is one of the platforms the organisation is using to raise the profile of the destination.

“We shall continue to support such strategic events in order to raise the contribution of domestic tourism as well raise the brand equity of Kenya as a tourism destination” said Ndegwa.

Magical Kenya Race Day will be a fun day for the whole family with other activities including dog show, a live band to entertain guests and a kiddie corner.

The event will be run from Saturday 19th to Sunday 20th and is open for attendance to all.
