Mutula burial set for Thursday in Makueni

It is official that the late Makueni senator Mutula Kilonzo will be laid to rest next week on Thursday the 9th of May.
His son Mutula Kilonzo Junior told journalist at the Mutula company offices here in Nairobi that his father will be buried in Woyani home in Mbooni, Makueni County and not at Manzoni ranch in Machakos County.
This is the statement by the late Mutula Kilonzo’s son Mutula Kilonzo Junior that sought to clear the air on where exactly the fallen leader would be laid to rest.
Junior said the decision to inter the remains of Mutula in Woyani home in Mbooni Makueni County was not an option but that was as par his wish.
There will be a requiem mass on 8th of this month at the Nairobi Baptist church before another one that will precede the burial ceremony at Utangwa girls’ secondary school grounds.
Meanwhile a section on members of parliament allied to CORD visited Mutula’s Gigiri home to console the family.
Led by Kimilili MP Eseli Simiyu the leaders urged the relevant authorities to fast track the process of investigations to unravel the misery surrounding the death of the charismatic lawyer and civil servant.
Mutula was found lifeless in his room at his Manzooni home last Saturday and pathologists report into what exactly caused his death is expected in two months.
