Nextgen fashion weekend in a bid to develop Youth’s Potential

Kenya Fashion Awards an initiative which honours and celebrates outstanding performance and excellence in the fashion industry will hold its Annual NextGen Fashion Weekend on Friday and Saturday 14th & 15th September 2018 at the Michael Joseph Center – Safaricom, Nairobi.

NextGen Fashion Weekend is a subsidiary event of Kenya Fashion Awards that involves training, practical sessions, competitions among others for young and upcoming talent in collaboration with internationally recognized brands and professionals with a vast knowledge and experience within the respective areas of interest. The 2-day event is a platform for Upcoming Designers and Fashion Design Students from different colleges and universities across the country to showcase their designs and creativity as well as compete. The winners are selected through a judging process and are awarded during the Awards Gala later in the year.

KFA through this event seeks to develop the creative and innovative potential of the youth.

In attendance will be a representative from the United Nations, youth organisations, directors from Kenya Fashion Awards, fashion industry stakeholders, fashion icons, corporate entities and institutions of higher education.
