Prof. Tom Ojienda on Friday presented his nomination papers to the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) as a confirmation of his intention to run for a second term for the position of male representative of the LSK to the Judicial Service Commission.
He said as the LSK representative since 2014, he has met most of the agenda items commissioned to achieve.
“We have been able to do this and surpass the seemingly insurmountable odds we have faced this far purely on account of unity and harmony of interest,” he said.
Ojienda added that as a united team, they will surmount whichever odds faced towards a second term and finish the good work embarked on.
His papers were received by LSK team led by the CEO Mercy Wambua.
“Ours remains the solemn desire to promote and facilitate the independence of the judiciary compounded by efficient and effective administration of justice, transparency and fidelity to the law remaining our yardstick,” he said.
He was accompanied by a number of Nairobi based advocates.
