Stars bundled out of 2015 AFCON qualifiers

The national soccer team  Harambee stars was Sunday bundled out of the 2015 Africa Cup of nation’s qualifiers after being held to a barren draw by visitors Lesotho in the second leg encounter played at the Nyayo national stadium.

The stars needed to win the encounter by more than two goals to qualify for the group stage of the qualifiers.

Lesotho has now advance to the last phase of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations on a 1-0 goals aggregate and joins Burkina Faso, Angola and Gabon in Group ‘C’.

The Stars head coach Adel Amrouche did not attend the game since he is serving a one year ban after he was found guilty by CAF for spitting on the Comorian coach in the first round match.

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) said it had given the bench all the necessary support but they had failed to deliver results

Meanwhile, Harambee Stars technical bench has been disbanded moments after the team failed to qualify to the Group stages of 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers following a barren draw by Lesotho.

In a press statement, Football Kenya Federation (FKF) said despite according the bench all the necessary support,  they had failed to deliver.
