Harambee Stars head coach Pau Put has confirmed that he will ring changes in the teams technical bench a move that might see assistant coaches Stanley Okumbi and newly appointed KCB, FC head coach John Kamau pushed out.

Put is readying stars for their second Group ‘F’ 2019 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers against Ghana in Nairobi next month.

Stanley Okumbi and John Kamau will be forced to pave way for the new members of the technical bench that Paul Put is expected to bring in as he moves to galvanise Stars ahead their crunch 2019 AFCON qualifier against Ghana in March

Kenya who lost their opening qualifier against Sierra Leone, is expected to play a host of friendly matches before facing Ghana who are at the summit of the group after their opening 5-0 crushing of Ethiopia.

Put is currently combing through a pool of Kenyan players based abroad as he seeks to form a formidable side that’s expected to build on the momentum gained after leading a locally assembled side to CECAFA Triumph in December.

Elsewhere, the World Cup trophy is expected to arrive in the country on the 26th of this month  ahead of its viewing set for 27th at Kenyatta International Convention Centre.

Only heads of state are allowed to touch the 6.142 Kg solid Gold trophy on its third time tour in Kenya.

The Trophy will tour more than 50 countries among them ten in Africa. Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia, Senegal and Nigeria will represent Africa at the June 14th –July 15th showpiece.
