Argentina forward Carlos Tevez has completed his £9.5m move from Boca Juniors to Brazilian side Corinthians. The was made possible after Corinthians signed a multi-million dollar partnership deal with a London-based group of investors. Tevez is regarded as Argentine's most exciting young player and has attracted interest from several European clubs. He was leading scorer at the Athens Olympic football tournament with eight goals as he helped Argentina win gold. He has become a regular in Argentina's senior side and scored his first international goal in the Copa America quarter-final against hosts Peru. Tevez comes from a humble background and still bears the scars of a household accident he suffered as a child. He has become increasingly frustrated at coverage of his private life and has been involved in angry exchanges with photographers.
