Written By:Nyokabi   , Posted: Mon, Oct 03, 2005

The visiting American Televangelist TD Jakes concluded his tour of Kenya Sunday during the second day of the Uhuru Park Crusade that pulled thousands of Christians from across the divide. Jakes in his message to Kenyans asked them to pray for their nation and allow God have a special place in their lives. Jakes returns to America tomorrow. Even with the scorching sun in the capital city Nairobi, thousands and thousands of Christians swarm Uhuru Park yet again to listen to the man of God, Thomas Dexter Jakes. The space on the ground shrank further in this second day as the gathering was twice as much, trees at the park were not only used as shades, but also served as seats for those who wanted the birds eye view. The voices of the Potters House Choir filled the air as they drove the crowds to hysteria with thier powerful voices. TD Jakes' crusade also attracted among others Roads minister Raila Odinga, official Opposition leader Uhuru Kenyatta and Businessman Paul Kamlesh Pattni. Jakes returns back to America Monday.
