President Mwai Kibaki Thursday evening made the following appointments in the Sate Corporations.
Joshua Leparashau was appointed the chairman of the Kerio Valley development Authority while George K. Karwenji is the new Chairman of The Transport Licensing Appeals Tribunal.
Other Appointments are as follows:
- Wycliffe A. Mutsune, Chairman of the Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) co-ordination Board.
- Joseph Nguthiru King'aru is now the Commissioner of the Complaints Commission.
- Herbert Wosely Ochola Ojwang, Chairman South Nyanza Sugar Company (SONY) Limited.
- Ntoros Baari Ole Senteu, Chairman Ewaso Ngi'ro River Basin Authority.
The president also made the following re-appointments of Board Members of the State Corporations Adviosry Committee (SCAC).
Mr. David Namu will be the chairman while the Board Members are as follows:
- Eng. Peter Wambura.
- Edwin Osundwa
- Richard Mundia Kariuki.
- Mwangi Ngumo.
- Silas Kobia.
- Manuel Shambi.
- Sammy Marasi Mwencha while Stephen K. Kigoro will be it's secretary.
