The national soccer team Harambee Stars will play a local friendly against a premier league side KCB Wednesday at 4pm at Kasarani as scheduled, despite the fact that head coach Antoine Hay dropped seven players from the camp.

The players failed to hand in their commitment letters from their respective clubs.

Hay backed by Football Kenya Limited wants players four days a week in camp at Kasarani.

The national team is currently preparing for the 2010 World Cup cum Africa Nations Cup qualifier against the "Super Eagles" of Nigeria on June 7th in Abuja.

Top teams in each of the five groups qualify for the world cup finals in South Africa while the top three in each group will feature in the Africa Nations Cup finals in Angola next year.
