Former Kenya captain Maurice Odumbe, whose five year-ban from international cricket ended in August this year, is seeking to play in Bangladesh for the country's cricket clubs.
Odumbe has also represented Mohammaden Sporting Club, a Dhaka-based premier cricket club, in the past.
Odumbe had written a letter to Kenya's national selectors offering his services to the game but he is yet to get a reply.
Frustrated because of the delay, Odumbe has now decided to play for a club side in Bangladesh.
Since his suspension, Odumbe has been heavily involved in fund-raising for shelters for AIDS orphans, as well as presenting a weekly radio sports programme and appearing in a number of television commercials.
He is also planning to release a song and has announced his intention to stand as a candidate in forthcoming general election.
