15 people hospitalised after Kenol-Murang’a accident

15 people are nursing serious injuries at Murang’a Level 4 Hospital after they were involved in a road accident.

The accident is said to have occurred after a driver of a car ferrying alcoholic drinks lost control of the vehicle colliding head on with a Nissan matatu at Mbombo Trading Center along Kenol – Murang’a road.

3 of the victims rushed to the Murang’a Level 4 Hospital are said to be in critical condition.

Witnesses at the scene of the accident reported that the driver of the car which was ferrying alcoholic drinks from Murang’a town lost control while trying to overtake a number of vehicles on the road.

Police in Murang’a have launched a manhunt for the rogue driver who took off immediately after the accident.
