2018 National volleyball league playoffs kick off

2018 National volleyball league playoffs officially served off Saturday at Kasarani Indoor Arena, Nairobi.

Kenya Defence forces men’ team started the campaign on a winning note claiming a 3-2 sets win over Prison Kenya.

Kenya Defence Forces was in blistering form from the start of their match encounter with Prison Kenya claiming a 25-22 points win in the first set.

The team went on to claim a 27-25 points win in the second before Prisons Kenya won the third and fourth sets by 25-18 and 25-21 points respectively to set the match to a tie.

However, KDF won the fifth set by 15-12 points and will play against defending champions GSU Sunday while Prison Kenya clashes with KPA.

In another match encounter, men’s defending champions GSU started their title defence with a 2-1 sets win over KPA.

The champions lost 25-18 in the first set before claiming the second and third sets by a similar margin of 25-23 points.
