Gor Mahia set to sign Ivorian striker Guikan

Sportspesa Premier League champions Gor Mahia which will represent Kenya in next year’s Africa Champions league is reportedly set to sign Ivory Coast striker Ephrem Guikan.

The player who currently turns out for AS Port Louis of Mauritania was in Kisumu when KO’galo was crowned the 2017 league champions.

The club assistant Secretary General Ronald Ngala says they have not signed the player yet, insisting that their main aim as at now was to renew contracts of players whose stay at Kogalo was going to run out this December.

Guikam was part of AS Port Louise team that faced Tusker FC in a CAF Champions League clash in February this year with the striker scoring both goals in their 2-1 victory.

Before joining Port Louis, Guikam played in his home country for Stade d’Abidjan in a stint that saw him receive a call up to the nation’s Under 23 side.
