Gor’s coach to make nine changes ahead of Thursday match

Gor Mahia head coach Dylan Kerr is expected to make a total of 9 changes to the squad that will face Zoo Kericho in a Kenyan premier match scheduled for this Thursday at Kericho Green Stadium.

The changes will enable Kerr test a number of new acquisitions brought in this season as well as rest some of his key players ahead of their CAF champions league, preliminary round, second leg encounter away against Leones Vegetaranios of Equatorial Guinea next weekend.

Gor face Zoo Kericho in their second Kenya Premier League tie with their intentions trained on clinching the maximum points that will catapult them to the helm of the standings.

2008 champions Mathare United lead the log after collecting maximum points from their opening two fixtures.

Meanwhile Kerr says he is not taking risks ahead of their return leg CAF Champions League preliminary round fixture against Leones Vegetarianos in Malabo next weekend.

Gor  carry  a 2-0 first leg lead.

If Gor Mahia gets past the Leones Opposition they will face either Esparance of Tunisia or ASAC Concorde of Mauritania for a place in the lucrative last 16 round.
