AFC Leopards; Shikanda wins second term as club’s chairman


Dr. Dan Shikanda retained his seat for the second time as AFC Leopards chairman after garnering 429 votes against his only opponent Ronald Namai who got 282 votes.

The club elections and Annual General Meeting,AGM, was held Sunday at Moi International Sports Centre Indoor Arena.

Mombasa based Gilbert Andugu is the new Sec General after receiving 433 votes. Robert Situma omusawa came second with 224 while Tonny Omusina finished third with 49 votes.

Treasurer Oliver Napali went unopposed.

Twelve-time Kenyan Premier League winners AFC Leopards finished in fifth position during the 2021/22 Premier League campaign and recently inked a Ksh.60 million sponsorship deal with a local betting firm
