Only a limited number of tickets are available
On Saturday, 6th March, Anga Cinemas will be screening the Kenyan film Blanda at Diamond Plaza from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm. In order to adhere to the Ministry of Health’s COVID-19 guidelines, there are only a limited number of tickets available for purchase. Each ticket will cost you KSh. 600/-.
The movie, Blanda, set in the sprawling slums of Nairobi, is a cautionary tale about the dangers of crime and the consequences of falling to peer pressure in a bid to omoka (make it). The title of the movie comes from the Sheng word “Blanda” which means mistake.
The film, directed by Dickson Omondi and Mburu Wanyoike premiered in December 2020 and will screen for the second time on Saturday.
