Artcaffe opens outlet in the historical Westminster building

Artcaffe’s newest outlet is its largest

Artcaffe last week officially opened its doors to its newest outlet and it’s spectacular. This is the second outlet in the CBD and is the located in the Westminster building on Kenyatta Avenue. The first is located on Kimathi street.

The location is quite deliberate and is a bid to preserve Nairobi’s rich history. Westminster was built in 1928 and served as a lodging for the white colonialists. Its original design as been preserved and so the Artcaffe outlet is uniquely pleasant and cultural in ambience. The tasteful black and white decor and wonderful wall art is still very much present in the Westminster outlet.

The demand for casual but high-quality dining experiences in the country is on the constant rise and the patrons concurred that it was about time Artcaffe came to the CBD. The franchise entered the Kenyan market in 2009 and has since opened 34 outlets in Nairobi and Mombasa.

The eatery is open every day from 7:00 a.m.-midnight and continues to offer one of the best happy hours in Nairobi (buy one get one free on cocktails from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.)

You can now take your coffee dates, business meetings or dinners to Artcaffe Westminster.
