‘Beast’, ‘Bullet Train’ begin showing in cinemas across Nairobi

The two blockbusters will show until August 18th.

Bullet Train

This David Leitch film starring Brad Pitt is based on Kōtarō Isaka’s 2010 novel, Maria Beetle (Maria Bītoru) originally written in Japanese and just recently translated into English. The film rights, however, were secured by Sony before the translated novel was even sold to an English-language publisher. The movie boasts an A-list cast, including Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Hiroyuki Sanada, Michael Shannon, Joey King, and Sandra Bullock.

The story follows several assassins aboard a train going from Tokyo to Kyoto, who all find themselves crossing paths and after the same suitcase.

Starring Idris Elba, this thriller takes place in a game reserve in South Africa and revolves around a father and his two teenage daughters who find themselves hunted by a massive rogue lion intent on proving that the savannah has but one apex predator.

The film directed by Baltasar Kormákur also stars Martin Battles, Iyana Halley and Leah Sava Jeffries.

Both movies are showing in cinemas across Nairobi. Get your tickets here.
