Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet is among other dignitaries and Elite Athletes who are currently attending the burial of Former world 400m hurdles champion Nicholas Bett in Nandi county.

Nicholas Bett, 28, died in a road accident in Nandi last week.

He was the first Kenyan athlete to win a world title in sprints clocking 47.79 seconds during his stint at the 2015 IAAF World Championships in Beijing China.

On Wednesday, hundreds turned up at the Eldoret Hospital morgue to receive the body of the fallen hero.
