Cardi B’s song “WAP” with Megan Thee Stallion won favourite song in the rap, hip-hop category

Cardi B made history at this year’s American Music Awards hosted this year by Taraji P Henson when she won the award for the favourite song in the rap, hip-hop category for the second time making her the first artist to do so.
Cardi first won the award in 2018 for her song “Bodak Yellow” and this year she bagged the award for her duet with Megan Thee Stallion “WAP.”
The rapper was not at the award ceremony but she offered her thank on her social media channels joking that if she had known she would win an award she would have made a dentist appointment.
