Conservationists raise concern over Lake Naivasha encroachment

Stakeholders around Lake Naivasha have raised concerns over the encroachment of the riparian lands by unscrupulous traders. The stakeholders who include environmentalists say the trend has affected water quality and quantity flowing into the lake. This comes as the National Land Commission (NLC) embarked on exercises to recover riparian land lost to business people.
