Detectives from Lari Sub-County have arrested four students from Kijabe Boys High School on suspicion of torching down a dormitory.
The inferno left property worth thousand of shillings destroyed with amore than 50 students affected.
The dormitory is also used as a class by Form 2 students.
Last year, an inferno in the same school reduced two dormitories to ashes prompting the administration to dedicate one of the classrooms to be used as a dormitory.
Security agencies led by Lari Deputy County Commissioner and Head of Criminal Investigations Officer Eunice Maingi carried thorough search narrowing down the arrest to the four sstudents.
Neighbours who responded to the distress call from the students called on the Ministry of Education to carry out a resuffle in the school accusing the administration of laxity after more than six attempts last year.
Efforts by journalists to reach the School Principal for a comment over the incident which is the sixth in a span of two years proved futile.
