Defending champions Gor Mahia to play Sofapaka on Sunday

Defending champions Gor Mahia will play Sofapaka in the biggest Kenyan Premier League game on Sunday.

Gor Mahia leads the table on 63 points, seven points above second-placed Sofapaka.

Gor Mahia will look to extend their lead on top of the log to 10 points as they welcome 2nd place rivals Sofapaka in a much-anticipated match at Moi stadium, Kisumu.

Kogalo goes into the match a motivated side having won 2-0 against Chemelil in a midweek fixture.

The Hassan Oktay side will look to win the match to fuel their chances of winning the league as it enters round 30.

Other matches will see Mathare United welcome Mt Kenya United as they try to bounce back from a 3-2 defeat in their midweek match against Kariobangi sharks.

6th place Tusker will take on Nzoia United as Sony Sugar lock horns with AFC Leopards.

8th placed Ulinzi tackle Zoo Kericho as Nicholas Muyoti’s Kakamega Homeboyz take on Western Stima while Posta Rangers play Vihiga United.
