Detectives interrogate Governor Obado in connection to Sharon’s murder

Migori Governor Okoth Obado is currently being interrogated at the DCI office in Kisumu in relation to the murder of Sharon Otieno.

This even as his personal assistant Michael Oyamo is set to take the stand at the Homabay High Court after magistrate ordered the prosecution to present the suspect.

Homabay senior Resident Magistrate Resta Simiyu yesterday gave the state 18 hours to present the suspect before the high court for further directions.

Obado has categorically denied involvement in the murder of the university student saying his PA met Sharon in his own capacity.
