Deputy President William Ruto has asked leaders to stay ahead and be committed to improve the livelihoods of Kenyans.
DP Ruto spoke Wednesday when he met County Assembly, religious leaders from Kajiado Central in Karen Nairobi.
The DP said that the country needed an-inclusive leadership in order to move the country forward.
“Leaders should be progressive, committed and work together in the national interest so as to tackle the challenges facing Kenyans. With an all-inclusive leadership, we stand to move the country forward,” he said.
At the same time, the Deputy President has also called on the Senate and National Assembly leadership to remain united saying it will help solve the economic and social challenges facing the country.
“The economic and social challenges we face requires that we remain united and focused on our priorities,” said DP Ruto.
He added; “We can only succeed when united.”
He spoke after holding a consultation meeting with a group of leaders from the Senate and National Assembly, Karen, Nairobi County.
