DP Ruto lauds national, county government relations

Deputy President William Ruto has lauded the mutual working relations between the national and county governments saying it has enhanced devolution in the country.

The Deputy President who was in Turkana County cited cooperation in the health sector where state of the art medical facilities provided by the national government was turning around health service delivery in the counties.

Ruto said this is has been manifested by projects undertaken through joint initiatives.

Indeed, the DP is projecting a prosperous future especially in the health sector as the partnership continues to thrive.

His sentiments received support from governors who are also encouraging good working relations between the state and the private sector.

The leaders in attendance would however not shy away from the recent turbulent situation in Turkana emanating from the newly discovered oil resource.

The Deputy President spoke during the official opening of the Accident and Emergency Unit and the commissioning of the Modern Assorted Radiology equipment at the Lodwar County Referral Hospital.
