DP William Ruto calls for unity among Kenyans

Deputy President William Ruto has called for unity in the country.

The DP who spoke at Wangige market in Kiambu County asked Kenyans to reject retrogressive practices that threaten to tear the country apart.

He called on Kenyans to build bridges across communities, regions and religious organizations in order to create a cohesive society in which every Kenyan was proud to be part of.

The Deputy President said it was unfortunate that for more than two decades politics in the country have been propelled by tribal interests saying the Jubilee Government was now committed to dismantling all tribal, regional or religious based divisions in the country.

Ruto expressed satisfaction that many Kenyans had realized the folly of parties that were championing sectarian and parochial interests and were trooping to Jubilee which has a commitment for national unity.
