Arama backs Azimio as he strategizes on 3rd term re election in Nakuru Town West Consituency

Nakuru Town West Member of Parliament Samuel Arama , has reiterated his commitment on supporting Azimio la Umoja for the August general elections .

Arama who was elected for the first term in 2013 on ODM ticket ,before being re elected on Jubilee party ticket in 2017 said he decided to throw his support behind Azimio la Umoja under the leadership of former premier Raila Odinga despite frequent persuasions from United Democratic Alliance .

The second term Jubilee lawmaker has said he is solidly behind the handshake being spearheaded by both President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga ahead of the general elections slated for the August 9th .

Arama has been one of the ardent supporter President Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration ahead of the August General Elections which will he feels will be a two-horse race between Azimio la Umoja and Kenya Kwanza Alliance.

Analysts say the firebrand politician is one of the few legislators in the larger Nakuru county assured of re-election owing to his development track record.

He is credited for improvement of education standards in his constituency through increased allocation of bursaries to needy but bright students, a move that has immensely contributed in good performance during national examinations.
