Kajiado county offering free rabies vaccine

Farmers and pet owners from Kajiado county are receiving free rabies and deworming vaccines through sponsorship from the Kajiado county government. The vaccinations are being offered to cats and dogs  free of charge at the Small Five VET CLINIC in Rongai from 14th to 19th October 2021

According to Dr. Gabriel Ouma, cats and dogs are the primary transmitters of rabies. He explained that when the animals get infected they bite and transmit the disease to humans. Rabies is a fatal ailment.
