Thrift Social has been postponed

You’re going to have to wait two more weeks to attend Thrift Social.

Planning an event has to be one of the most challenging and trickiest things. So much could go wrong and so much can end up being out of an organizer’s control. In this case, the Thrift Social event which was set to take place at the Carnivore grounds tomorrow (15th November), has been postponed.

Thrift Social is a great annual fashion market and all-round artsy event that we always look forward to. It always has a funky fashion theme, this year’s being; Afro Chic and Masks. Samthing Soweto, a great performer of the Amapiano music genre was mean to take centre stage and marvel the music fans. It’s not all in vain because the new event date has been announced as 29th November. The event’s planning team is quoted as saying the event is being postponed due to unavoidable due unforeseen circumstances. “Organizing events during COVID-19 is tricky to say the least”. They said through their Instagram page.

If you had already purchased a ticket, it remains valid for the new date. On the brighter side, you now have more time to pick your outfits and practice your dance moves.
