Envoys pledge to support development in Trans Nzoia County



Envoys from Kuwait, United Arab Emirates and the Ambassador Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have pledged to support socio-economic development in Saboti constituency in Trans Nzoia County.

The diplomats made the promise after visiting the region and donating two trucks of foodstuffs to the Kipsongo slum community.

Kuwait, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia envoys were in Saboti constituency on a fact finding mission on how their countries can support socio-economic development in the region.

Led by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Kenya Dr Mohammed Khayat the diplomats committed to maintain existing partnerships with the Kenya government.

Among sectors they are keen to invest in is education where the Kenyan government is working to achieve 100 percent transition from primary to secondary schools in the country.

The envoys further pledged to offer infrastructural support to Mosques offering Islamic religious studies.

Saboti constituency member of parliament   Caleb Amisi welcomed the partnership and lauded the international community for investing in development projects at the grassroots.
