Focus on key population targets helps lower HIV/AIDS prevalence in Siaya

HIV/AIDS prevalence rate in Siaya has dropped from a high of 24.8% five years ago to the current 17%. According to Impact Research and Development Organisation (IRDO) technical advisor, Stephen Ojowi, the emphasis was placed on Female Sexual Workers, Drug addicts, and Homosexuals who are key population targets in the fight against HIV/AIDS pandemic.
