Gor Mahia football club Patron Raila Odinga has urged the team to prepare adequately a head of their CAF Confederation assignment following their Sunday 4-1 post-match penalties win against AFC Leopards in FKF Betway Cup at Nyayo National Stadium.
K’Ogalo will now represent the country in next season’s Caf Confederation Cup besides taking home Sh2 million for their exploits after winning the title for ninth time since inception of the tournament.
Kudos to both teams for playing a great game.
I urge Gor Mahia to plan better for this year's tournament.

The record Kenya Premier league Champions have had poor showing in continental football competitions after getting eliminated at the earlier stages, and will be seeking to replicate their glittering local show on African boarders.
Earlier this year, the Green Army was still being haunted by the ghosts of the tournament after Emmanuel Mayuka scored a 96th-minute penalty as Zambian side Napsa Stars drew 2-2 with Gor Mahia to qualify for the Group stages of the CAF Confederations Cup with a 3-2-win aggregate.
The team travelled to Lusaka with a 1-0 deficit from the first leg played at the Nyayo Stadium knowing nothing short of a win would see them through.
