Succession and Ted Lasso lead in TV nominations.

The Screen Actor Guild Federation has released the nominees for the Screen Actor Guild Awards (SAGS). This year’s nominees showcase some of 2021’s best television and film performances by actors.

Ted Lasso and Succession led nominations in the TV category with five nods each. The Netflix film drama The Power of the Dog led film nominees with three nods. However, House of Gucci scored nods for the top prize of the best cast and for the performances of stars Lady Gaga and Jared Leto.

The SAGs are considered an early indicator for the outcome of the Academy Awards (Oscars), with industry experts paying close attention to the nominations.
