Gachagua rallies Kenyans to support President in fulfilling pledges
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has asked all Kenyans to support President William Ruto as he delivers his election pledges to the nation. Speaking at Mary Emmaculate Catholic Church in Karatina, Nyeri County, where he attended a service on Sunday, Mr Gachagua said it was only through national unity that the country would be able to realise development. He congratulated the President for reaching out to Coast leaders who are affiliated to Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition, to work with the Kenya Kwanza administration. They included Kilifi governor Gedion Mung'aro as well as his Mombasa County counterpart among other ODM colleagues. The Kenya Kwanza Plan, the DP said, entails the unity of Kenyans. “I want to request Kenyans, let us continue supporting His Excellency President William Ruto as the government works round the clock to ensure it has delivered its promises to the people as we continue spreading the gospel of peacekeeping in Mt Kenya region ,” he said. The Kenya Kwanza's Mt Kenya leadership, he noted, has set a deadline of bringing everyone in the region behind President Ruto, by the end of the year. “We have given ourselves a target of 31st December this year, to have united all the people of Mt Kenya region,” he noted. He was accompanied by Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga, Senator Wahome Wamatinga, Woman Rep Rahab Mukami and Mathira. MP Eric Wa Mumbi among others.
